Stable Multi-Level Monotonic Eroders

نویسندگان

چکیده

Abstract Eroders are monotonic cellular automata with a linearly ordered state set that eventually wipe out any finite island of nonzero states. One-dimensional eroders were studied by Gal’perin in the 1970s, who presented simple combinatorial characterization class. The multi-dimensional case has been Toom and others, but no such found. We prove similar for those one-dimensional even presence random noise.

Stable-path multi-channel routing with extended level channel assignment

Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) have gained considerable popularity in recent times thanks to their selfhealing, self-organizing, and self-configuring nature. Because of their ability to provide high throughput and minimum packet delay, WMNs are considered to be favorable for broadband applications. For such applications, WMNs employ multiple channels, which give rise to issues like channel assig...

SMD: A Locally Stable Monotonic Change Invariant Feature Descriptor

Extraction and matching of discriminative feature points in images is an important problem in computer vision with applications in image classification, object recognition, mosaicing, automatic 3D reconstruction and stereo. Features are represented and matched via descriptors that must be invariant to small errors in the localization and scale of the extracted feature point, viewpoint changes, ...

Strictly monotonic multidimensional sequences and stable sets in pillage games

Let S ⊂ R have size |S| > `2n−1. We show that there are distinct points {x, . . . , x} ⊂ S such that for each i ∈ [n], the coordinate sequence (xji ) `+1 j=1 is strictly increasing, strictly decreasing, or constant, and that this bound on |S| is best possible. This is analogous to the Erdős-Szekeres theorem on monotonic sequences in R. We apply these results to bound the size of a stable set in...

A Characterization of Stable Models using a Non-Monotonic Operator

Stable models seem to be a natural way to describe the beliefs of a rational agent. However , the deenition of stable models itself is not constructive. It is therefore interesting to nd a constructive characterization of stable models, using a xpoint construction. The operator we deene, is based on the work of {among others{ F. Fages. For this operator, every total stable model of a general lo...

A Sequence of Weakly Monotonic Automata with Increasing Level

In this paper, we exhibit a sequence of strongly connected aperiodic weakly monotonic automata, whose level increases with the number of states. Mathematics Subject Classification: 20M35, 68Q45, 20M07
